1/10 Executive meeting is on Tuesday the 10th at 7:00pm at our downtown Headquarters has been cancelled due to increment weather.
1/24 Tuesday-The Republican Men’s Club will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday January 24, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at AJ’s Restaurant in Lenoir. Superior Court Judge Dan Kuehnert will be our guest speaker. Come on out and get to know our Superior Court Judge. What an opportunity to meet an official you vote on. Bill Stone, (who was appointed by Pat McCrory) with the Board of Elections will talk about the law changes that have been established after this last election. We will also talk about the election of new officers for the Men’s Club that will be voted on in our February meeting on 2/28. Come early for a dutch treat dinner. District Attorney David Learner asked to join the fun and will also attend this meeting. He has a finalized court case he wants to share with us all.
1/24 Tuesday– Women’s Club meeting will not be at Bud’s Diner and this month meeting has moved to AJ’s Family Restaurant instead. Come to AJ’s at 6pm for a Dutch treat dinner and meeting starts at 7pm. The women are suggesting that they will just come on over to the Men’s Club meeting on the other side of the restaurant and listen to our guest speakers too. 2/28 Tuesday Men’s Club meeting at AJ’s Family Restaurant at 7pm. Please come early for a Dutch treat dinner. This meeting will be a membership night and voting night for new officers. You must be a paid member in order to vote. The yearly membership fee is only $10.

3/2 Thursday there will be a social meet and greet at our headquarters, 813 West Ave. Downtown Lenoir. Our guests will be Destin Hall, our State Representative for Caldwell County and Deanna Ballard, our State Senator for our County. The time will be 6pm until 8pm. This will be an up close meeting with our elected officials and a good time to ask them your questions and concerns. The owner of Domino’s Pizza has offered to bring pizza for us to share. We will provide beverages until we run out.
3/11 Saturday: County Convention at Lenoir Public Library Please consider coming to this important meeting. We will be electing our Officers. All registered Republicans are encouraged to attend this very special meeting. Come and get involved. This is how you get to go to the National and State Conventions.
4/1 Saturday We are going to have our Headquarters open from 4pm until at least 7pm and maybe longer. Today is the first day of the monthly Cruise Inn rally in downtown Lenoir. Come on by and say hello. Ask questions and even register to vote or change party affiliation. Come and get your photo taken with Trump with our life size cutout.
4/11 Tuesday: CCRP EXCOM & Party Meeting at Party HQ’s, Lenoir.
4/25 Tuesday: Women’s Club meeting. All Republican women are welcome to attend this meeting. Just come on down and enjoy. We meet at Bud’s dinner at 7pm in their private room. Please come at around 6pm for a Dutch treat dinner.
4/25 Tuesday: Men’s Club meeting: Our guest speaker will be Superior Court Judge Dan Kuehnerdt. All Republican men are encouraged to come to our meetings. They are very informative. 5/6 Saturday: Booth at Butterfly Festival Open at 9am until closing of event.
5/6 Saturday: Our Headquarters will be open during the Cruise Inn. Opening around 3pm after the Butterfly Festival. Open until event finishes. Come on down to register to vote and/or change party’s to Republican. There will be refreshments and popcorn. Come on in to ask questions.

This months guest speaker is, Caldwell County’s Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Steve Stone. This meeting, since there will be much interest from everyone, it will be open for women to attend. Men, bring your wife’s. Dr. Steve Stone is involved so much more in Caldwell Co. then just the schools. Please come and have your questions ready and meet our Superintendent of Caldwell County Schools up close and personal. This will be a fun meeting.

8/19 Saturday: “Meet Your Elected Officials Picnic” You are cordially invited to come out and meet your elected officials on Saturday, August 19th at the Mulberry Recreation Center 720 Mulberry Street SW, Lenoir. (covered site to the right of the building) from 1pm until 4pm. Bring a lawn chair! Last year, over 100 people came and enjoyed good food/fellowship. The food cost is $10. Expect to see and talk with many of your local officials and candidates. Food is 1/4 pound all beef hot dog with chili, and sides. Baked beans, watermelon, chips, beverages and SNOWCONES. 8/ 22 Men’s Club meeting at AJ’s family buffet restaurant on 321 in Lenoir. Come early for a Dutch treat dinner. Bill Stone will be our key note speaker. He is involved with the Board of elections and will tell us about the new election laws coming our way and many changes are coming due to redistricting. He is also with the Trustees of our community college and they are working on new developments with the new Happy Valley Medical Center. This meeting with Bill Stone will be very informative and I encourage y’all to come on out.

This month, representatives from the CPA (Coalition for a Prosperous America) will be our key note speakers. National TV super stars Dan DiMicco and Jeff Ferry, will be here in Lenoir at this meeting presenting a power point presentation on the International economic potential changes coming from the Trump administration. Dan DiMicco is on the Trump’s economic advisory team.
9/26 Women’s Club meeting will be a AJ’s steakhouse this month and will share in the Men’s Club meeting. Come early for a Dutch treat dinner.

October 14th Saturday: Our 4th Annual GOP Golf Tournament will be at Cedar Rock Golf and Country Club. Please call Steve Bogdan at 828-726-8670 and leave a message for more information and to sign up. It will be the typical 4 man Captain’s Choice format and entry fee will be $200 per team of 4. Individual fee will be $50. Additional optional skirt/mulligan package for an additional fee of only $5 per person. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and last place. There will be door raffle prizes which include rounds of golf for 4 with cart. Anyone who enters can win. Last place team will win a dozen golf balls so everyone has a chance of winning a prize. Closest to the center of the fairway prize. You only have to hit a 100 yard shot to be closest to the line down the middle of hole #6. Anyone can win that prize and all par threes will have closest to the pin prize of a dozen golf balls. A nice buffet lunch will be included in your entry fee. Invite your friends to come on out and watch and play. If you are not playing, you can buy your lunch and hang out with everyone and just listen to our PA systems Patriotic music being played.
